Yummy dinner..... Mexican Chicken- Chicken breasts, black beans, salsa, low fat Mexican cheese, and a little guac on the side (mine always has extra black olives!)

My wonderful godmother brought me a shamrock plant! Who knew that the flowers open in the day time and close at the night time! Soooo cute!

We booked our hotels for London! We used Hotwire.com and had great luck and great pricing! Poor Kyle, he is always my model when I get bored with inanimate objects in our house...can't wait for spring!

The snow keeps falling

I got to visit my adorable goddaughter Sienna and take some 6 month old pictures, who knew they would grow so fast :0 She loved the plastic eggs, they were like a mini ball pit

My friend Lisa is getting married in the Dominican Republic over spring break! Here we are celebrating at her bridal shower at Bin Eleven (there was a wine tasting throughout the party)

We went to see our friend Matt, who plays bass, in the band, I'm Not A Pilot. They are amazing, the cellist in their band also plays in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. This is taken with my point and shoot camera

Valentines Weekend! Kyle and I woke up Saturday morning and made crepes (thanks for the recipe Jamie) before I took him to his surprise appointment that required him to bring a swimsuit! It was an amazing Aveda Caribbean back treatment massage, that requires scrubs and washing off (swimsuit required) Later that night we enjoyed an incredible dinner at Ristorante Bartolotta.... SOOO good!

Kyle's crepe involved honey and lingonberries (bought in Door County)

Mine was made with peanut butter and banana nut granola

Happy Lover's Day!

Hellooooooooooo winter..... No special effects, this is the true coloring of a Wisconsin winter. (I was totally one of those "weirdos" that hopped out of my car to take this picture) I really loved the coloring of the sky and the water tower, also this water tower seems vintage to me :)

Hello winter.....glad you decided to stay!

When winter weather hits Wisconsin the weather men react like we have never had a snowstorm. Here is a before pic:
And an after pic:
I needed some stretching and yoga after shoveling

Super Bowl Party! This was the 6th year in a row that Kyle and I have hosted a superbowl party together. We always make a chili of some sort, this year it was White Chicken Chili. Way to go SAINTS!!

My cute little god daughter Sienna and bestest bud Robyn from highschool!
Super Bowl was on Kyle's birthday so I made some dark chocolate brownie cupcakes with peanut butter cheese cake, whip cream and a cherry on top. They were delic!
I laughed so hard when I was cleaning up the kitchen at the end of the night and looked in the fridge to see mardi gras beads next to the milk! Gotta love New Orleans!

36:365

The Anderson's were in town from Green Bay to celebrate Kyle's 28th birthday! We went out to dinner in the 3rd Ward at a Turkish restaurant called Tulip. (there was a bellydancer, no joke)

The next day we went to the Mitchell Park Domes to get our "tropical weather" during our midwest winter. It was also their Chinese New Year celebration, that was a fun surprise!

My family had a little scare, where we thought we might have to put our 9 year old black lab, Dakota, down..... so I headed home to spend some time with her and be there for my mom. THANKFULLY, the vet thought we should try a few medications first and see where it goes. Keep her in your prayers :)

I finally got out of the house!

I came home from work, the sun was shining, the sky was bright blue, I had to get out of the house to take some pictures.

Enjoy my little Washington Heights Neighborhood :) We do!
